Experience: 10 – 14yrs
Mandate Technical Skills:
Core Java Expertise with Struts and Spring
Hands on experience in any of the Web Services
Hands on experience in any of the database
Strong Architectural Understanding of complex system.
Advantageous Skills:
Any exposure in .Net technologies say C#, Orchestration/Biztalk etc. (Not a mandate).
Experience in Hibernate will be a Plus.
Domain awareness can be an added advantage.
Key responsibilities
• Work with the business analysts and product architects to devise and propose the system solution to business problems or new opportunities; help prepare the proposals with the ball park estimates and high level risks identified to help business on ordering new projects.
• Perform project technical feasibility study and conduct technical solution workshops during the initial analysis phase
• Define, document and maintain the technical delivery method ensuring standardization of all activities involved in the delivery of IT projects.
• For assigned projects, ensure all application construction or modification work associated with an assigned project is undertaken in compliance with environmental specifications provided by FIL Technology environment management personnel.
• For assigned projects, oversee construction of all functional project artefacts in accordance with FIL Technology development methodology, technical delivery method and quality gates.
• For assigned projects, ensure all project artefacts are constructed, compiled, packaged and documented in accordance with FIL Technology policies
• Maintain knowledge of all FIL Technology enterprise architecture developments and governance activities that impact technical delivery practices.
• Support and mentor delivery engineers who are interested in advancing to a solution architect role
• Undertake training and certification activities to maintain and document skills and safeguard ability to contribute to FIL Technology objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with business partners and proactively seek feedback on systems processes and personal performance
• Provide recommendations and help direct reports with talent management: objective setting, career development, job rotations, fair and timely appraisals, pipeline management, training, international opportunities, and identification of high potentials, under-performers
